"Born from the excitement of creating something out of nothing."

The thrill of taking that initial concept or idea and turning it into a form of art that others may enjoy was the spark that ingnited SilverGod Pictures and its quest to make film. Founded in 2003 with the idea of taking one short story of his and wanting to do more with it than just let it sit in a dark filing cabinet, Timothy Caswell began shaping his alternative reality. This re-shaping took form in the producion of film and video, adding to his many other talents as an artist, graphic designer and performer.

One of the many outlets film-makers can expose their films are the film festivals. Because of the limited opportunity to exhibit science fiction and fantasy films made by and for the gay and lesbian community, SilverGod Pictures created The OUTer Gay and Lesbian Science Fiction / Fantasy Film Festival. Offering those queer film-makers the opportunity to boldly take the audience to where few have gone before.
